Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 29, 2026

1. Who we are

Dashi is a WhatsApp-based AI assistant for teams, operated by Fuse Analytics Limited ("Dashi", "we", "us"). This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use Dashi, how we use it, and the choices you have.

For any privacy questions or requests, contact us at sasugihara@gmail.com.

2. Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Account information. Your name, email address, and password (stored as a salted hash), or your Google account email if you sign in with Google.
  • WhatsApp data. When you connect a WhatsApp Business account, we process messages, files, images, and voice notes that you or your team send to Dashi via the WhatsApp Cloud API, along with associated metadata (phone numbers, timestamps, display names).
  • Connected integrations. If you connect Gmail or Google Drive, we access email messages and files only as needed to provide the features you use. OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest.
  • Usage and log data. Standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, and activity within the product, used for security and to operate the service.

3. How we use your information

  • To provide the service: sorting messages into projects, managing people and deals, and responding to your requests.
  • To process content with AI models, including transcribing voice notes and analyzing messages to organize your work.
  • To send transactional emails such as email verification and password resets.
  • To secure the service, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your content to train our own AI models.

4. AI processing

Dashi uses third-party AI providers to process message content on your behalf, including large language models (for understanding and organizing your messages) and speech-to-text services (for transcribing voice notes). Content is shared with these providers only to deliver the features you use, under agreements that prohibit them from using it for their own purposes.

5. Subprocessors and third-party services

We rely on the following categories of service providers:

  • Hosting and infrastructure: Vercel, Supabase (PostgreSQL database), Upstash (rate limiting)
  • Messaging: Meta Platforms (WhatsApp Cloud API)
  • Integrations: Google (Gmail, Google Drive, sign-in)
  • AI processing: Anthropic (language models), Deepgram (voice transcription)
  • Email delivery: Resend

Your use of WhatsApp is also governed by Meta's own terms and privacy policy, and your use of Google integrations by Google's policies.

6. Legal bases (GDPR)

Where the General Data Protection Regulation applies, we process personal data on the following bases: performance of our contract with you (providing the service), our legitimate interests (securing and improving the service), your consent (where you connect optional integrations), and compliance with legal obligations.

7. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. When you delete your account or request deletion, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. Backup copies are purged on a rolling basis.

8. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, restrict, object to the processing of, or delete your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, email us at sasugihara@gmail.com. If you are in the EU/EEA or UK, you may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

For instructions on deleting your data, see our data deletion page.

9. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS), encryption of OAuth tokens at rest, hashed passwords, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. International transfers

Our service providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

11. Children

Dashi is a business tool and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the "Last updated" date. Material changes will be communicated to account holders by email.
